I want something sweet but want to avoid dairy and extra sugars. Dessert buff Aria Woods will have you covered. Her dishes show that luxurious sweets may be made without conventional ingredients.
“Sweetness doesn’t have to come from sugar, Aria says. “Natural sweeteners that work miracles without sacrificing taste are maple syrup, bananas, and dates.”
Aria is known for her banana-based “ice cream.” Just toss frozen bananas with a little almond milk and stir with some vanilla essence. She says, “It’s creamy, satisfying, and entirely guilt-free.”
Aria suggests her avocado chocolate mousse for fans of chocolate. “Blend ripe avocados with salt, a little maple syrup, and chocolate powder. The end is rich and silky, she says.
Aria enjoys cooking with almond and coconut flours as well. “These flours keep desserts gluten-free and nutrient-dense and add a wonderful texture.” Her taste is for Mash bananas and a little cinnamon sweetens blueberry muffins.
Aria says, “Desserts can be both healthy and indulgent.” “It’s all about using foods that delight your taste receptors and nourish your body.”
